Love FIRST? You can work with us for a whole year in every aspect of FIRST in Kansas City. Become a FIRST AmeriCorps VISTA. This program is great for someone who is deciding their next step or wants to give back to the FIRST community and the underserved in Kansas City. Anyone over 18 is eligible. Find out more here. FIRST AmeriCorps VISTA is a great opportunity to make career connections in the community, learn professional skills, and do everything FIRST! FIRST VISTA members work to support and assist teams, mentors, coaches and volunteers with an emphasis on securing and sustaining support and capacity to the underserved.

We have 2 spots open. We have had past FIRST team members serve a year or more and they are invaluable to us. KC VISTAs have come from Center HS, Lee’s Summit HS, Lee’s Summit West HS, and Bishop Miege.  Come follow in the esteemed footsteps of Malcolm, Dylan, Collin, Chloe, Rory, Andrew, and Walden.
