Game Announcer and MC Training at Cow Town ThrowDown

As FIRST in Western Missouri/Kansas continues to grow, we are seeking new talent for the key volunteer positions of Emcee and/or Game Announcer.

At the 2019 Cow Town Throw Down, we will again be offering a training for anyone wanting to give the microphone a shot.  Some will get to do a match or two of FRC and others will start with a practice match for FLL.  Here are the requirements for each competition:

FLL – need to at least be in high school, prefer 18 years of age or older.

FTC – out of high school, prefer out of college

FRC – really looking for adults working and settled in the Western Missouri/Kansas area

For 2019-20 season, we will not be assigning anyone brand new to FRC.  We want to utilize FLL and FTC to train, assess talent and instill the spirit of FIRST.

Please feel free to contact me if you would like to be part of the training at Cow Town.  If you can’t make it, but are interested, let’s talk about getting you started at the FLL level.
